Noise deadening system in Holland Park
After three months of detailed negotiations and design reviews, we were chosen to provide a noise deadening system for roof top air-conditioning equipment on a Grade II listed property in this prestigious part of London.
Working closely with the architects, we produced a demountable four-sided casing of horizontal blades that could be easily erected and had hinged access for simple servicing. Careful consideration was given to air flow rates around the AC condensers, as well as the inclusion of baffle filters at either side to alleviate any possible risk of recirculation – and having constructed the blades with an acoustic fibre infill to increase their noise dampening properties, we were also able to polyester powder-coat the assembly
Project Manager, Piers Baker, says
“Our technical advice on some very specific points was well received and working in such a desirable area, on such a high-end specification, simply confirms our reputation as a one-stop shop for all manufacturing needs.”
